An uprising in the community! [COUP:Seizure of Power]
Fellow Guild Wars Community,
What you are about to read is my opinion/theories, and that should be taken into consideration before posting in this thread.
For quite some time now which is actually up until the latest patch/update that we have been playing with for quite some time now, there has been rage that has been building up inside me slowly but surely. So called "updates" that the Guild Wars developer's have been making, and are now starting to bring the community down.
First of all, these "nerfs" as they are called can be good but bad at the same time. *For these examples I will be using farming, and running*
Farming, which in the game is a way to constantly keep increasing ones wealth by receiving drops [worth of high value] through the combination of fighting/tanking multiple enemies. To "nerf" farming IN MY opinion, is removing a Legitimate way of making income. Now, keeping in mind that ALMOST everything in Guild Wars is overpriced, how is one to make this amount of money with out being able to collect enough to save? But for those who say farming is an exploit, I beg to differ. Lets break down farming shall we?
Using:
=====
1. The ability to make the builds.
2. The skills required for the build.
3. The weapons needed for that build.
4. The armor needed for that build.
5. And anything extra that you can think of.
THIS IS ALL GIVEN TO YOU.
Where's the exploit in that?
Is it necessary for me to go onto running? Which again IS given to you by the Guild Wars developers. To make it harder, I could see that, because the runners could charge more and thus making the economy better by circulating more money. But we are unable to keep up with the changes because new abilities aren't given to us fast enough. Now if the developers are all about it's "clients/audience" whatever you want to call it, they should see how it will affect US and then the game play.
We are the consumers here, with out us there wouldn't be a well thriving Guild Wars community. Unless they realize what they are doing the community will slowly begin to deteriorate...
Thank you for your time,
Latin.
